Book Review: She Takes on the World by Natalie MacNeil

by Debi Auger

Amazingly it took me less than 48 hours to finish reading this book. Sorry I'm just getting to the review.

I highly recommend She Takes on the World. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I was having so much fun reading it, I didn't want to put it down! The conversational tone Natalie uses makes you feel like you're chatting with a friend. It's lighthearted and fun, but honest. She shares real-life experiences of successful women entrepreneurs. She also shares openly her own journey, thoughts and processes; right down to her ritual for dealing with fear. No I'm not going to reveal it... you need to read the book ;-)

This is an exciting time for women. As she states in her Introduction, "We're living in a new era... it's women who are leading the way as the dominant economic force." Her excitement about this is evident throughout the book. Her enthusiasm is infectious. She wants you to be an active part of this change and is giving you the practical advice to do it.

Although the book is rather small and extremely easy to read, don't be fooled. It packs a very powerful punch of inspiration, motivation and tools to take action. This is definitely not just a book to read. It's an action guide to build your business. There are action items throughout the book to guide you to create your MAP (Master Action Plan). She touches on almost all the facets of choosing, starting and building your business...from choosing your niche all the way to building a thriving community. She also covers the personal and emotional issues of making your business work with your life.

There are no limits to what you can achieve and, if you want to break the traditional rules of society and be a force to be reckoned with in the business world, this book is a great place to start your journey!

I had the pleasure of working with Natalie in WE Mastermind and couldn't wait for her book to be released. She didn't disappoint that's for sure! I may have finished reading it in 2 sittings, but trust me, I'll be working with it and referring to it for a LONG time. Thank you Natalie for sharing this awesomeness with us!

Much success,
